Rock Guitar Workshop

 

The rock guitar workshop is a six week course in rock and heavy metal guitar. The course includes the Rock Guitar Workbook, practice CD and class materials. The workshop was created by National Guitar Workshop (NGW). A nationally known workshop that has educated musicians of all ages. The NGW serves the hobbyist, student and professional musician, by offering a variety of courses for the guitarist.

 

The workshop covers the following topics:

• Introduction to Electric Guitar
• Chords and Rhythm Guitar
• Reading music and TAB
• Lead Guitar
• Effects Pedals
• Pentatonic scales
• Power Chords
• Barre Chords

 

This is a great workshop for the beginner guitarist, or for one who would like to learn rock or heavy metal guitar. The purpose of the workshop is to provide the student with exposure to different aspects of rock guitar. With the techniques learned in the class, the student can explore the different styles, based on their experience level.
